The aim of this one-day programme is to provide participants with the skills and competencies that will allow them to negotiate effectively and efficiently with others in a variety of situations, where win-win outcomes are essential for success. After this course participants will be able to:
- Define what effective negotiation looks like
- Identify their own negotiating style
- Recognise the different negotiating styles of others and be able to adapt styles, determined by the individual situation
- Identify a 4-step framework for negotiations
- Clarify and practice the skills required for effective negotiations
- Devise strategies to strike a deal that both parties can achieve a win-win outcome
- Deal effectively with challenging negotiation situations - the 5-Step plan
- Practice effective questioning and listening skills
