Time Matters - Making the Most of your Day

Time Matters - Making the Most of your Day

Date Location Details and Booking

Would you like to get more out of your working day? Would you like to go home feeling energised and ready to make the most of your evening? If so, this event is for you!

Research by German time management author Lothar Seiwert suggests that people work, on average, at 40% productivity.  Many people feel they are working harder than ever and working longer hours, but often go home feeling that they have achieved very little.

According to time management expert Julia Rowan, part of the problem is that much time management training has focussed on using time management systems (which need to be replaced every year).  But most people don’t have a problem with their systems - they have a problem with their habits.

Julia’s workshop ‘Time Matters – Making the most of your day’ majors on habits – helping you to reinforce habits that work for you while breaking habits that don’t and replacing them with powerful new habits.  This workshop was extremely well received on its last outing:
- 93% of participants strongly agreed (and 7% agreed) that it was a good training course,
- 83% strongly agreed (and 17% agreed) that the information and ideas shared were useful and
- 81% (and 19% agreed) that they intended to make changes to the way that they work

In follow-up phone calls two weeks later, 100% of participants contacted felt that they had made valuable changes to the way that they work.

Participants at the workshop will learn:

·         How to spend more time on those tasks that really count – and less on those that don’t
·         How to develop a simple but effective time management system
·         How to make the most of the two key hours at work
·         How to clear their inbox – and keep it sorted
·         How to clear the desk every day
·         How to move calls and visits along quickly – and nicely
·         How to create the right working environment and personal infrastructure

And last but not least
·         How to get the FEDS on their side!

In advance of the event, every participant will receive a pre-course pack so that their learning about those habits which help and those which hinder can begin before the workshop. This means they will be primed to make the most of their time at the workshop listening for those ideas which are just right for them.

At the workshop, participants will also receive a copy of Julia Rowan’s highly acclaimed new book “Time Matters – Making the Most of your Day”, which was published in November 2009. Everything in the book has been tried and tested over the 12 years that Julia has been training people in time management.  Participants will also receive Julia’s “Creating Better Habits’ booklet that can be used time and again in their personal and business life.

In the month following the session, the crucial time for creating and bedding down new habits, Julia will be in touch with participants by e-mail on several key dates, helping them to evaluate and adjust what they are doing, so that they get more from their time at work (which means that they will get more from their time outside work!).
